Our Story 

United of Uva Forces Sports Club was established on 01st May 2015 with the aim of creating a capable society through sports and creating people who are interested in sports and developing knowledge. Created by Nedunchelian Ziegen Paul and Arumugam Kalairaj. After that, with the direct participation of more than 11 youths from Badulla district, a hardball cricket team was formed and started cricket under the name of Uva Forces Cricket from 2015; The journey has begun. As the next step of this, Uva Forces Foundation was established by Nedunchelian Ziegen Paul and Arumugam Kalairaj on May 1, 2023 at the address of St. Anthony Xavier Puram, Gonakelle Upper Division, Passara. Objectives for the implementation of the organization

Every citizen of Sri Lanka has the right to live democratically and enjoy equal rights. However, it remains an unanswered puzzle whether the resources or blessings available to the majority community reach the minorities, especially the hill communities. Our company is the result of an effort to improve the sports skills found in today's society by strengthening them physically and psychologically in order to get rid of this situation and move forward.

Importance of sports

In the modernized world we have started playing indoor games as video games. In continuation of this situation, the future youth community will become inactive and sluggish.

Chances of being pushed into a nutritional state are high. Therefore, bringing out the paralyzed society at home and developing the sports skills and getting national level players to participate in real sports within a short period of time, creating sports opportunities for us who are the treasures of the mountain soil.

Our action

By developing sports and sportsmanship on the path towards a greener world, we collect registration fees from our stakeholders, monthly subscription fees and legal assistance from the community for annual implementation activities and training fees for players, and use our funds as per the approval of the management.

Our work

We run a charity. It's not for profit but as a mountain we use sports as a great medium to make a difference in society. We work to bring out healthy and prosperous mountain youth and provide sports, sports opportunities and sports resources that mountain youth do not enjoy. Even though we are a strong community that participates in sports, especially at the national and international level, we are still left behind in many places. The real reason for this is not our mountaineers but lack of proper training, proper guidance and expertise in sports equipment. Our Foundation aims to change this situation and create a new revolution.
